C31M 3.1 Megapixel Endcap (C31M) - obsolete

The now obsolete Blackroc C31M is a 3.1 megapixel digital camera fully integrated with the Workabout Pro handheld computer. Supplied as a new endcap with an X-Mod internal camera controller board.

The stylish C31M provides full preview mode of the camera subject in real time, images can be stored in JPEG format for optimum use of memory.

The C31M can be used with other devices located in the Workabout Pro CF slot, and can also be used with the Pro 60 Blackroc printer.

C32M 2 Megapixel camera without GPS (C32M)

The Blackroc C32M is the successor to the highly successful C31M.
It is a 2 megapixel high resolution single board digital camera which fully integrates into a new endcap designed for the Psion Workabout Pro G2 and G3 and connects using USB via the scanner port. This approach leaves the X-Mod port free for other peripherals including the GPRS/GSM/EDGE Radio card from PsionTeklogix.

The C32M is also available complete with a fully integrated SiRFStar III GPS reciever which facilitates the capture of Geo-Tagged images, see the Procyon W100 for more details.

All signals present on the scanner connector except the USB data lines are passed through the C32M, this allows the simultaneous connection of a serial barcode scanner or other serial peripheral such as the Blackroc Pro60S serial printer.

The C32M can be used simultaneously with a wide range of other peripherals including

Procyon W100

The Procyon W100 (formely known as the C32M/G) is the successor to the highly successful C31M.
It is a 2 megapixel high resolution single board digital camera complete with a fully integrated SiRFStar III GPS chipset which facilitates the capture of Geo-Tagged images. The unit fully integrates into a new endcap designed for the PsionTeklogix Workabout Pro G2 and connects using USB via the scanner port. This approach leaves the X-Mod port free for other peripherals including the GPRS/GSM/EDGE Radio card from Psion.

The GPS features a backup powered sleep mode that is automatically entered whenever the W100 is turned off, this allows the GPS to perform a warm boot at next turn on thereby reducing the time to fist fix to as low as 10 seconds.
