Flexible software

The satellite receiver module in the Procyon has been designed to output satellite information in the standard NMEA 0183 format, so it works out of the box with a wide variety of data capture software. This means that you can purchase your preferred data capture software and install it onto the Procyon.

Blackroc are recommending the use of Esri ArcPad with the Procyon, due to it's flexible nature, analysis features, reliability and the ability to share data with co-workers. Blackroc are a partner of Esri UK and are licensed to sell Esri software. This means that you can purchase the Procyon with Esri ArcPad pre-installed, accompanied by desktop GIS packages such as Esri Viewer and Esri Editor if required.
